Mumtahena Diyan Mohona earned her M.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Dhaka. She received the National Science and Technology (NST) Fellowship for the academic year 2022-23, awarded by the Ministry of Science and Technology for her master’s research work. She completed her undergraduate studies in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of Dhaka, where she graduated with the second-highest standing and received the "Dhaka University Scholarship" in recognition of her academic excellence.

Mumtahena Diyan Mohona is currently working as a Lecturer in Electrical in the Department of Textile Machinery Design and Maintenance at the Bangladesh University of Textiles. Following her graduation, she contributed as a part-time faculty member in the Departments of CSE and EEE at various private universities in Bangladesh.
