Rifat Jahan had been appointed as a lecturer at Department of Wet process Engineering under the Faculty of Textile Chemical Engineering in 2nd December, 2018. After completed her B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, she started her career as a Lab Officer at Esquire Knit Composite Ltd for around 2years. Then she experienced working as a Color-technologist at Next Sourcing Services Ltd for more than 1 year.

-Effective recovery of chemicals from waste water/solution and recycling to reuse

-Got board scholarship at HSC and SSC
-Entitled in the merit list on BSC in Texile Enigineering
-Awarded for Debate competition under BUTex DC as well as for social work under Badhon BUTex unit.
